burning flower

This here is my newest painting, compared to my other paintings, this is the smallest I have done. The size is about 400 to 400 mm, the colors are acrylic as usual. In this painting I worked more at the details and played with the contrast of blue / orange and shiny / mat.

  1. Hello Patrick!

It seems you have been very busy since I last had a chance to look on here. Congratulations for having your painting displayed as a part of Kunstsalon. I hope it will generate even more interest for your work and hopefully bring you some freelance commissions.

The painting above is beautiful as is your new Mexico painting. I think you could create a wonderful collection of paintings with the Mexico theme.

For some feedback about the Burning flower, i feel it is missing one element, but i do not know what. Maybe something like flames around the outline of the flower bud? But its just a suggestion.

Keep up the hard work as always!

  2. hola mel,

thank you, i am very happy to hear from you that you like my work. munich was a great time for me and whole new experience.

as you said, i would like to continue in this painting style and make a collection in a mexican inspired theme.

the picture of my last work, the flower look´s sadly a bit different as in original, i worked with reflexing fluorescent colors, hard to photograph... i like it in real more than on this picture, but maybe you are right some more flames would look good.

i like it also to see how you make progress with your digital drawings.

send you many greetings, hope you post soon. keep up the good work.

    patrick
